Many are surprised Alberta doesn't already have a provincial constitution. The Canadian Constitution recognizes provincial constitutions; British Columbia has one; every state in the United States has one; every club and society in Alberta has one - it's the law! Its a tool that sets out the rules, giving more citizen control over and input into government.
